My background ☺️

Originally, I got my Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas! What a different world, right? I wasn't sure where to go with my career, and I eventually found a part-time job at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as a Special Events Clerk. I was then offered a full-time position as a Special Events Coordinator and stayed there for a year. It was fun, but didn't feel quite fulfilling for me. I was looking for something where my efforts would have more impact and make a true difference.

Then I finally stumbled into the world of UX Design. The more I work in the field, the more I realize that this is truly what I love doing. I enjoy working in a space where our users have a voice and their struggles are heard. It is my goal to fight for that space where users are put first, and to become their voice, all while ensuring that designs are not leaving those with accessibility limitations behind. It's been a wild jump from the hospitality industry over to working as a UX Designer, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
